Welcome to the Wharf!
All wedding weekend activities will take place at the Wharf — a waterfront neighborhood in the Southeast quadrant of Washington, DC. There is plenty to do, see, shop and taste just steps away.
DC is easily accessible via plane or train. We wouldn’t recommend driving as parking around the city can be tricky, and Taxi, Uber or public transit are readily available. See below the main entry points to the city:
Union Train Station
10 minute drive to the Wharf
Reagan Nat. Airport (DCA)
10 minute drive to the Wharf
Dulles Intl. Airport (IAD)
40 minute drive to the Wharf
Where to Stay
We have arranged two hotel blocks for our guests — both options are just a short walk away from all weekend activities! October is one of DC’s busiest months and rooms are limited, so we strongly recommend booking well in advance.
The InterContinental Hotel
801 Wharf Street
Canopy by Hilton at The Wharf
975 7th Street SW
If you plan to arrive before Friday or stay beyond Sunday, please call the hotel directly.
If you are interested in seeing another part of town, there are plenty of additional hotels or AirBnBs available throughout the city. Our favorite neighborhoods to explore are Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Capitol Hill — reach out if you want some recommendations!
